Manhattan U.S. Attorney files mortgage fraud lawsuit against Wells Fargo

The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York filed a civil mortgage fraud lawsuit Tuesday against Wells Fargo alleging that it cost the Federal Housing Administration hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance claims on failed mortgages.
