Swad has been named the president and chief executive of language software firm Rosetta Stone effective immediately, the company announced Thursday. Swad has served as Rosetta Stone's chief financial officer since November 2010, when he joined the company from software maker Comverse Technoloy. He previously served as CFO of Fannie Mae and AOL.
