	Friday, February 17, 2012 11:50:46 AM NEWS ALERT House passes $150 billion economic package The House passed by a vote of 293-132 a $150 billion economic package extending a payroll tax holiday for 160 million workers and extending unemployment benefits for the rest of the year, sending the legislation to the Senate for its expected passage Friday afternoon. If the legislation passes the Senate, it will go to President Obama's desk for his signature, giving him a victory on a portion of the massive jobs bill he presented to Congress last fall.
