Local Business News Alert: No deal on FAA funding; partial shutdown tonight will furlough 1,000 in D.C.

The FAA will partially shut down tonight after Congress adjourned without approving stop-gap funding. More than 4,000 FAA workers -- 1,000 of them in the D.C. region -- and tens of thousands of airport construction workers under FAA contract face immediate furlough at midnight.
