Delays on Outer Loop in Montgomery County due to overturned vehicle

An overturned vehicle is causing delays on the Outer Loop of the Beltway in Montgomery County this morning.

All lanes of the Outer Loop near Connecticut Avenue were temporarily closed Wednesday morning. The wreck has since been moved to the shoulder, but backups continue in the area.

Traffic begins slowing around University Boulevard and becomes jammed between Georgia and Connecticut avenues.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area, if possible.
