Michigan lawmakers approve right-to-work law

Michigan lawmakers on Tuesday approved legislation that would bar unions from demanding dues from workers, making Michigan the 24th "right-to-work" state. Thousands of union members gathered at the state Capitol to protest the move, which strikes a blow to organized labor in the heart of the U.S. auto industry.
