	Wednesday, June 6, 2012 1:56:25 PM LOCAL BUSINESS ALERT Exxon moving Fairfax operations to Houston Exxon Mobil is relocating its operations in Fairfax County to Houston beginning in early 2014, the company announced Wednesday. The Irving, Tex.,-based oil giant had been toying with the idea of closing its 118-acrea campus in Merrifield for at least a couple of years. The campus has 2,100 employees and has served as Exxon's headquarters for downstream operations.
