Senate to consider Medicare administrator nominee for first time in years

The Senate Finance Committee has agreed to hold a confirmation hearing
for Medicare administrator nominee Marilyn Tavenner. The move could
end a congressional stalemate over who should lead the agency, which
has been without a confirmed administrator since 2006.
