Samsung ordered to pay Apple $1.05 billion in lawsuit over smartphone technology

Federal jury finds that Samsung willfully violated several Apple patents, including the iPhone design, pinch-and-zoom and bounce-back features, in the smartphone patent infringement case. But Samsung's Galaxy tablet did not infringe the iPad design patent.
